Becky Prophet, Professor of Theatre, earned her Ph.D. from University of Michigan. Since then she has been teaching, directing and acting in Wisconsin, Atlanta and Alfred. Active
in the American College Theater Festival and Association for Theater in Higher Education, she enjoys teaching courses in acting, directing, theater history and theater theory and criticism. Directing plays, which push the definition of theater, encourage audiences to participate and guide actors and designers to increased artistic growth and powerful ensemble, takes Becky's artistic focus.
