NY Governor Cuomo Orders all New Yorkers to wear face coverings in public

ART WALK tonight Thurs. 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Bundle up, put on your face mask and join us this evening to enjoy the art other Alfredians have made in their windows and sidewalks. Please, all Alfredians, chalk your walk or make art and hang it in your window or on your porch. Through our making of chalk drawings and other visual art, we are sending message of hope and love to all of the village residents!  We are in this together and we will come out of it together.  Put your art on display.  Then walk, practicing physical distancing, to see what we are saying to one another.

At 7:00 listen to the ringing of the hour and the church bell.  Add your voice, your device, your applause at 7:01, sending that energy and thanks to the health care workers and emergency responders..  At 7:02 listen to the carillon ringing out our community’s message of appreciation to medical staff and emergency responders..  Following the pealing of the carillon bells around 7:20, again cheers, pound pot, whistle, applaud, honk horns in thanks for the carillonneurs and in tribute and gratitude for those on the front lines providing care and comfort.
