Due to the COVID 19 pandemic and restrictions on public gatherings the Village of Alfred understands the challenges presented in attending the online public hearing. In an effort to provide every opportunity for our community to ask questions and discuss concerns; the Village of Alfred is extending an invitation to the public to contact the Village via phone or email with any questions or concerns regarding the Village Budget. The comment period for the Village Budget will be extended through 5pm, April 24th, 2020. All questions will be addressed in the public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at 7:30pm via Zoom.

Alfred Village Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on the 2020-2021 Budget on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. with a vote on the budget to follow. Public comment on the budget will be received up to 5:00 p.m. Friday April 24, 2020. Following the Governor’s decree of no public gatherings, Village Trustees will move this Public Hearing online. The hearing will be recorded and transcribed. This hearing is open to the public. The budget is posted on the Village website alfredny.org and hard copies are available in the Village Hall during their normal business hours – Mon. 9-12, Tues. 1-4, Wed 9-12 and 1-4 and Thur. 9-12.
